Samuel graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Economics in Bratislava for both, 1st and 2nd-degree studies. Currently, he is an internal PhD student in the Marketing and Business Management program at the same faculty. Under the guidance of doc. Ing. Monika Naďová Krošláková, PhD, his research focuses on the importance of family businesses for regional development in Slovakia. He also works as a blogger and marketer in the tourism industry.
In 2017, his blog was named the 5th best food blog in Slovakia. In 2019, he was selected by Google as a Grow with Google Student Ambassador and a lecturer at the Hotel Academy Institute, where he teaches new skills and opportunities in marketing. As part of his marketing efforts, he has been involved in several successful projects, such as Whisky Fest Bratislava, the Slovak Coffee Championship - BARISTA 2018 and 2019, the Festival of World Distillates in Košice, the Folklore Festival in Východná in 2019, 2021, and 2022, among others. He is also the author of scientific and professional articles, reviews, and recommendations. He served as the director of the Czechoslovak version of the internationally renowned coffee magazine Standart. In 2020 and 2022, he participated in the promotion of Slovakia during the preparations for the international market Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal. He worked as an intern and junior assistant for the Ambassador of Slovakia in Lisbon, Ing. Oldřich Hlaváček. He holds the Student Tourism Personality award (2020) from the Department of Tourism at the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Economics in Bratislava and was nominated for the Student Tourism Personality of Slovakia award (2021/2022) by Junior Chamber International-Slovakia.
Currently, he works as a specialist in digital marketing and social media at the National Cultural Centre, a state contributory organization of the Ministry of Culture of Slovakia. He is also a member of the Specialty Coffee Association and the Tourism Commission of the Bojnice City Council.
